First reaction, wow!!! This Catullus is crazy. Does he even know who this girl is. He is so in love with her and doesn't even know anything about her. Man, from the looks of it, Catullus might me a pervert because he is stalking some random girl and getting all crazy over her.
Kevin, we're looking for a little more of an analysis of the poem. This is a valid initial reaction, but back it up with some references to the text. Show me you've translated the poem and you understand it. What, specifically, does Catullus write that makes you think he's "crazy" or a "pervert." Although I did say the tone of these entries could be informal, I'm not sure these words can be backed up by a careful reading of the text.
